Houses, Villas, Beach Houses, Apartments, Complexes and Interior Design.

 

Residential housing has many factors that contribute to it, some vary in functionality and purpose. There are various types of residential housings, such as Villas, Beach houses, Apartments, Complexes and Houses. 

Villas are usually described as an upper-class country house. In modern days, villa’s can refer to various types and sizes of residences, ranging from the suburban, “semi-detached” to a double villa. 

Beach houses is a house on or near a beach, sometimes used as a vacation or second home for people who like to commute to the house on weekends or during vacation periods. Beach houses are usually designed to accommodate the weather climate it is built in, they are also associated with beach gardens with a particular type of leisure use.

Apartments are referred to as a self-contained housing unit that occupies only part of a building. There are different types of apartments, such as a studio, maisonette, two-story flat (duplex) and a loft. Although they could be sent as single units, but when combined together into a communal residency, they become Complexes.

Complexes usually have a series of flats on different stories, but also have a communal leisure area. These communal areas vary from swimming pools to Bbq areas. 

Houses on the other hand, is a building that its sole function is to be a home, its design is to meet the needs of the people that would reside in the house. 

Lastly, we arrive to the main aspect of residential buildings, Interior design. It is defined as the art of enhancing the interiors of a space to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing environment for the end user.
